Communication between MIAVX1 and MIAMIU is still interrupted as a result
of problems with RSCS during the conversion to the OpenVMS (alpha)
system.  As a result, NetNews feeds to VM/CMS will not resume until
Monday at the earliest.  In addition, electronic mail delivery from VM/CMS
to Bitnet addresses will be  delayed until the software is operational
(but will be delivered).  Internet mail uses TCP/IP software and should
remain unaffected.
 
Our apologies for the service disruptions.  We will post developments as
information is available.
