I received this yesterday. I didn't want to answer with the essay that these questions evoke. I'd rather see his application before I bother, too. Sherry would know if he's actually applying. I'd guess he is, but these questions either ought to be answered once and for all in a group-created essay for any and all applicants that might ask, or not at all. At least, I don't have the time or inclination right now.

Did others get this?  Has anyone seen an application portfolio? I'm trying
to figure out how much effort to put into a response. Since he can't spell
and given his questions I'm thinking he's probably not a top candidate and

I am applying for a masters degree in creative writing with a concentration
in poetry. What can I potentially expect from the poetry workshops? Is their
anything that I can do now to prepare myself for the program? What kinds of
