Dear Colleagues,

      I believe it is imperative that we meet tomorrow, in advance of the
Lit Committee meeting on Tuesday, to discuss hiring, not just in Creative
Writing, but in advance of the Department meeting on Thursday.

      I have a much clearer sense of the hiring agendas of the other
cohorts within the department, and am very much hoping that everyone will
be able to attend tomorrow morning at 10 am, or at the very least, will
both be at the meeting on Thursday and agree to support decisions taken
tomorrow and perhaps at other moments prior to that meeting.


     Please write and let me know if you will be able to attend tomorrow
at 10 am.
