Should this be done before the first (Feb 8) Dept mtg? I am pretty busy Th, Fri Feb 2 and 3, and, like Margaret, STRONGLY prefer to not do this on a weekend. I could do it Weds Feb 1 at 4 if I reschedule something else. Can do it (maybe) afternoon of Tu Feb 7, after Dept mtg on Feb 8, but not Th Feb 9 easily: many weekday appointments in Cinti. The following week W Feb 15 is best at 4. The Dept Retreat is Fri Feb 17 , isn't it.
Of course, MY vision for the future, in some ways, is least relevant, as I'll be here for only 3 semesters over next 3 years...

Mondays i teach from 1 through 6.45
i CAN do Tuesday through Sunday this coming week (Jan 31st - Fen 5th) and Tuesday through Thursday the following week (7-9) and Tuesday through Sunday the week after that (14th-19th).
I'm happy to break into the weekends if need be.
I DO think that we need an open conversation to hear the out-of-the-box thinking
and then we will probably almost all agree to discount such thinking . but i think we
need to do such thinking and to share such thoughts
