Listing it as a grad course and not a 400-level should work; you might want to run it by Michele Simmons. But as far as I know, undergrads can take the 500-level grad classes with permission of the instructor, as long as they are seniors and have a certain GPA, which I don't remember now. Just double-check with Michele.

Subject: Question about my Sprint paperwork
Hi all--
My Sprint paperwork is momentarily stuck in bureaucratic limbo, with Dr. Oris, the Dean of the Graduate School, suggesting that if the Sprint is both 400-level and 500-, there should be different learning outcomes for the undergrads, which I'd need to explain. The other (and easier) workaround is to list the Sprint as grad only, 599, and to say a select number of undergrads can participate in the grad course with permission of director/instructor.
Anyone know why that wouldn't work? Before I send the paperwork back in?
Thanks,
Jody
PS--Lest you think I'm just now doing the paperwork, they've had this since January 14.
