I got it & was going to try to answer briefly today. Haven't seen his application but you're right, worth looking at before going to a lot of trouble.

Did others get this? Has anyone seen an application portfolio? I'm trying
to figure out how much effort to put into a response. Since he can't spell
and given his questions I'm thinking he's probably not a top candidate and
is trying to boost his chances, but if one of you has seen his poems and he
has talent that's a different story. . . . Keith

I am applying for a masters degree in creative writing with a concentration
in poetry. What can I potentially expect from the poetry workshops? Is their
anything that I can do now to prepare myself for the program? What kinds of
careers do students typically follow after they graduate with a similar
degree? I would be honored to be part of the program at Miami University.
Thank you for your considersation.
Evan Carr
