Dear All,
The Chambers reading will be April 7, leaving the next week open for Jerome Rothenberg. Notice that every single week from March 1, for six weeks, there's a reading (minus spring break). That should suffice. So, Ebenbach as judge is ok with me--easier than bringing in yet another reader/judge, I think.
David

Subject: Tentative Spring Reading Schedule
Dear Writers,
After a brutal, but for us, successful (?) department meeting yesterday, I’m writing to let you know that there are some plans afoot? Ahand? Ahead? To move the department’s focus to talking about Credit hours. More later, perhaps tomorrow night.
I’ve also attached a tentative spring reading schedule. Please have a look and let me know if I’ve missed anything. You’ll notice that the last two items included on the schedule are listed as tentative, the Chambers reading tentative only on date, and the Rothenberg tentative to its core.
Would anyone like to suggest a judge for the departmental creative writing awards in the spring? It’s just occurred to me that we could ask David Ebenbach, who has published both poetry and fiction.
Eric
