Annie
 
 
 
EVE  is Annie Finch's debut volume of poetry.  Her poems have appeared  in
The Paris Review, The Kenyon Review, Southwest Review, Partisan Review,
Hudson Review, and other journals.   Editor of three anthologies, including
A Formal Feeling Comes:  Poems in Form by Contemporary Women  (Story Line,
1994), she has also written a book of poetic theory, The Ghost of Meter:
Culture and Prosody in American Free Verse (Michigan, 1993).  She is now
finishing a long narrative poem, translating the sonnets of French
Renaissance poet Louise Labe, and preparing for the CD-ROM version of Eve.
