Thanks to everyone for all the beta-testing help we've gotten so far.
We've made a few changes to the installer:
-the documentation has been improved, making the PPP setup process more
easy to understand (hopefully!)
-the installer now recognizes the presence of duplicate MacTCP prep files
and tries to correct this problem

Thanks again,
John Moose

Although we have been testing these installers, we would like to ask for
help from any kind souls who would like to act as "beta-testers" for our
installers. We need to test them on as many different machines and
configurations as possible.

The minimum configuration is a Mac with a 68030 processor, 8 MB RAM, 40 MB
free hard drive space, and System 7.0.1.

The PPP installer installs FreePPP 2.5, Netscape 2.02, Fetch, NCSA Telnet,
tn3270, and Stuffit Expander.

If you would like to help, you can obtain a set of disk images:
Using the Chooser, select Appleshare and the zone MCISServices.
Select MUSERVER1, and, using Apple Standard UAMs, log
in as guest and mount the volume MU1-Support. The disk images can be found
at:

MU1-Support:Mac:MUnet:PPP images

Be sure to read the file named "READ ME! IMPORTANT!" before continuing.

Thanks a lot for your help. I look forward to your questions and comments.
