I had this problem yesterday also from a Windows 3.1 system. I'd put in my
userid and password and it wouldn't accept it. I tried this about 3 or 4
times in a row with no luck. Steve Thole then tried his userid and
password and it worked fine. I tried about 30 minutes later on a Mac and
everything was fine again.

Also, did the systems make a connection? We were having problems
yesterday, where our local modem would dial the phone, but the other end
wouldn't pick up. Trying it a second time would usually fix the problem,
though.
