Can anyone think of a reason why my perfectly good 28.8 modem only wants
to connect to the PPP at 26.4? Sometimes even 24000. I'm using Win95
with a Boca 28.8. It's set up to try and establish a reliable
connection first with V.42bis, then with MNP5 and finally in standard mode.
Any clues? The modem on my end seems to be configured correctly
because it works fine on other services outside MU.
