I had hit east fork south beach for the Least Sandpiper - Feb. bird! But it was
closed. Preparing for the storm I presume. I decided against walking down
from the gate to the beach area. Raining.

Hit Hawley Rd. instead. I have been striking out checking fields I have had
Larks and Longspurs in last winter. Not a clue why. I have been going with
snow on the fields too! Today just rain. But Hawley Rd. came through!

1 Lapland and 16 larks. Just scanning from my car. one loose flock.

Good birding all. I wonder what this storm will bring in?
