Tried to get a quick walk in before the heat settled in but birdsong was pretty much drowned out by low-flying prop planes that I later found out were spraying the biosafe compound for gypsy moths (makes them sterile but no harm to birds, other insects, purportedly) so I didn’t stay long.
Nothing unusual. Mostly heard birds—Chat, Com YT, Yellow, Hooded & Blue-winged warblers. Looked/listened for Kentucky but no luck. Indigo Buntings, White-eyed Vireos. Wood thrushes, Tree Swallows. Acadian FCs, Pee-wees.
