Good thing I checked my email before heading out! I am still catching up
after my vacation. So while waiting for the washer..... I read email!
I wouldn't have known about the Purple otherwise!

The Tate boat ramp. Which is an ebird hot spot. Its also marked on the
way in.

It was found yesterday. Andrew is chasing early Sunday morning. I'll
post if he sees it still.

Also Pintail there.

And all I was after was the Goldeneyes!

Reservoir was open. Frozen around some edges. Etc.

Junco was the predominant bird species along the road edges. The normal
winter birds. No RB Nuthatch or Purple Finch. Maybe Monday as I yard bird
in the snow! 5 to 8 down here in Cin is what I keep hearing.
