Armleder was slow. How slow? No Goldfinches even! But I had other things
for my inat big year. I think a new bug, and a new shrub.

Nothing on Lake Barber.

Fernald was good! Lodge Pond has a nice variety of diving and dabbling ducks.
Only shorebirds were Killdeer and Snipe.

The Hickory Trail at the Butler county border has a nice woods area where I
usually see a flock. This afternoon was no exception. YR Warblers, 1 Tennessee,
WC Sparrows.

I was hoping for Marsh Wren at the ponds along this trail. No. Big year is stuck
at 230! I knew I should have hit east fork - Clermont. But thought the Red Phalarope was gone.... Dummy me..... if its reported early Sunday morning, I can chase.
Else have to wait til Monday........... sigh.

Nature notes - trees are finally starting to turn down here.

Good birding all.
