I had a pleasant walk at the land lab this morning. I was There mostly to find insects to photograph but was delighted to see 2 bobolinks in nonbreeding  plumage fly over making their call note. It’s the first time I’ve seen them there this year although I haven’t visited that often so I suppose I could’ve missed them. I had yellow and Com YT warblers. Only swallow was Barn. E Phoebe. No Killdeer.
