Saw the Preble County Snowy Owl late this afternoon (1/19)! We didn't have any service for the smart phone, so I had to wait to get home to post. Thanks to the birders there who told us where he had flown- north into a field. We stood near the corner of 122 and Toney Lybrook Road and were able to see him with scopes, north and a little east of that corner. There is no safe place to park on 122, and he's on a fence post pretty much in the middle of a square mile country block. First picture is with my 24x zoom, and the second is an attempt to take a picture through the scope. He was still there when we left.
