I had a walk here this morning. Then after that walked again with the bins.
I stayed in the front part of the place. Hoping for Purple Finch. Not this
morning! And no RB Nuthatches. They have either moved on or are in the
back area.
I have a volunteer shift at Rowe woods this afternoon. Will be checking
those feeders for Purple finch!
Vesper Sparrow was 228 for the SW Ohio big year.
Sunday afternoon will be Armleder for my inat big year. Barring a needed
year bird showing up somewhere.....
I need to still concentrate on sparrows. But gulls and terns need to be
searched also. I need LBBG. Franklins Gull, Common tern. etc. East Fork,
and Lost Bridge need checking. Caeser creek also. I still get surprised
at the lack of gulls here. Still not sure why on that!
Good birding all.
