After no nighthawks last evening, 8 went over tonight going due S. I saw 2 of them from my driveway so I picked up a new yardbird as well for the price of a couple mosquito bites…

Denison has been v slow the last few days. One TN warbler Mon, 2 Maggies & a juv Com YT on Tuesday then 2 Maggies (perhaps the same ones—same area), one each of Bay-breasted & Am Redstart plus Com YT.

Brown Thrasher family still around. Good looks at YB Cuckoos, one eating anther tent caterpillar.

Almost no Red-eyed Vireos singing but one was feeding w/the pair of magnolias. White-eyed still vocal—good looks at an adult singing.

Red-headed WP flew over then perched briefly. Peewees & a couple empid sp. heard a Great Crested briefly today.
