The rain held off and I picked up some more personal FOS birds: Great-crested FC, Nashville Warbler, Tennessee, Com YT, Gray Catbird, Swamp Sparrow, Scarlet Tanagers (couple pairs—males just glowing), warbling & Blue-headed Vireos.

Also had a White-crowned Sparrow. I encountered a small flock of White-throateds, prob 10 or more in addition to singles.

Other warblers:
B&W
BT Green
Hooded
Ovenbird (h)
N Parula (h)

Ran into Bob McNulty et al & they did much better w/warblers than I did. I’m sure he’ll post later.

Some Wood Thrushes as well as a couple Hermit Thrushes. Lots of BG Gnats. Wood Ducks. House Wrens.

Delightful was a flock of 10 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, a mix of mature and still molting younger males along with females. Interacting and vocalizing. V cool.

Had another close encounter with a mink—great looks as it stopped momentarily to size me up!
