Below are our results from this morning's very soggy walk around the south part of Carriage Hill Metropark, Montgomery Count, Ohio, as part of Dayton Audubon Society's annual Christmas Bird Count. We ended up with 20 species, and thought we did just fine given the light to mostly moderate rain the entire time we were out. I can't remember any recent counts where we had no breaks in the precipitation! Birding in the rain with umbrella and rain coats - what fun!
