After fighting with Drs. offices and Insurance People all morning,  I
had to let off some steam!  So,  off I went to Sims Park to look for
Scoters.  I haven't seen any this fall yet.  I was there between 2-3PM.
I had all 3 species.  Only 2 White-winged Scoters.  I counted 43
Surf/Black.  Basically in 2 groups.  One directly north of the pier and
the other NE of the pier.  Hard to get an accurate count with the surf
and them diving.  It was so peaceful!!  Also about 14 Goldeneye,  1
common loon.  43 degrees and hardly any wind.  I don't think I have had
this many Scoters before.
