The last landbird 'migrants' of the season were scattered through sites
around & near this MetroPark southwest of Columbus. I stopped at Kuhlwein
wetlands, the Nature Center, and Cedar Ridge, along with nearby Clover
Cemetery wetlands and Big Run Park. Waterfowl haven't made much of an
appearance yet, and that was true here. But other 'migrants' included:

N.Flickers - 2-3 at most stops, even in very open areas
Pileated Woodpeckers - pairs of calling birds were at both the Nature
Center and Cedar Ridge
Blue Jays - modest flocks clustered in areas with oaks trees - Cedar Ridge
had the most with 14+
Tree Sparrows - 1-2 at nearly all sites with any open areas
Fox Sparrows - 2 beautiful red individuals were along the Hawthorn trail at
Cedar Ridge
White-crowned Sparrows - 2-3 were singing along the greenbelt trail at
Kuhlwein wetlands
Swamp Sparrows - 2-3 were at each of the three wetlands visited, so either
there will be record numbers of wintering birds or these are laggard
migrants.
Blackbirds - very few Redwings, but a large flock of nearly 300 Grackles
were at Cedar Ridge
