Blendon Ravines is one of our new parks. 5247 Cambria Way
This land was set up years ago by the landowners as a Nature Preserve.
These woods are located on a 98 acre tract of land overlooking Big Walnut
Creek. The area consists of pristine woods with high river bluffs and shale
ravines. The Metro Parks are protecting this beautiful native habitat for
the benefit of wildlife and visitors alike.
Below is a list of some of the Winter residents.
Woodpeckers
Red-headed
Yellow-breasted Sapsucker
Pileated
N Flicker
Hawks
Red-tailed
Cooper's
Hermit Thrush
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Blendon Woods Metro Park (We maintain Blendon Ravines also)
Blendon Woods Nature Center
