Yesterday took a walk on the upper trail along Lake Medina. Large numbers of Ruddy Ducks on the southeast end of Lake Medina. Also seen was a Common Loon, Redhead, Bufflehead, Double-crested Cormorant, Ring-billed Gull and other waterbirds too far away to ID.

In the woods were Black-capped Chickadees, Tufted Titmouse, Blue Jay, Northern Cardinal, Red-bellied Woodpecker and a Carolina Wren.

Lake Medina has two entrances. The southern entrance is off Rt. 18 west of I-71. The sign is not very obvious. GPS Coordinates N 41 08' 14.238, W 081 49' 21.072.

The northern entrance is off Granger Road. GPS Coordinates N41 09' 08.754, W 081 49' 20.310.
