V pleasant day to be out birding even if I wasn’t able to get to Clear Creek super early.

Birding mostly by ear & nothing unexpected. Female Hooded Warbler seen carrying food & chipping at me so nest prob wasn’t too far away. No Tanagers.

Had a close Kentucky Warbler singing but only had a brief glimpse thru thick tangles. Hermit & Wood Thrushes singing.

Redstarts, all males, were the most numerous Warbler, vocal and showing well. Saw one flycatching which was cool.

Nice looks at a silent Brown Thrasher.

Red-shouldered Hawks were quite vocal as were Pileated WPs. Acadian FCs, E Wood Peewees, E Phoebe; White-eyed, Yellow-throated & Red-eyed Vireos.
