Julie and I were walking at Buck Creek State Park this morning when we saw a
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. I took a few pictures and posted them on eBird. It
was drumming in a metal object on the power lines that run along the east
side of the park. It was the pole just north of the road that leads to the
disc golf area. We saw it both at the beginning of our walk and also at the
end of our walk so it seems to be staying in that area.
We also heard a Kentucky Warbler singing farther north on a trail that runs
east from the power lines. We don't have them very often here.
