Today (11/21/10) around mid-day at Mosquito Creek Reservoir among a good variety
of waterfowl we found these species -
White-winged Scoter - 1 - just south of causeway mixed w/ several 100 Am. Coots
Surf Scoter - 1 - as above
Common Loon - 20+ scattered throughout Res.
Tundra Swan - 75+ se corner of Res. as seen from Mahan-Denmam boat ramp
Snow Goose (white morph) - 1 flying back & forth low over Res. off
Hoagland-Blackstub Rd.
Common Goldeneye - 8 - south of causeway
Hayes Rd. (Geauga Cty.) had 3 Rough-legged Hawks - all dark morph
Red-shouldered Hawks were found throughout Trumbull Cty.
