Yea! Mary C. and I hit here this afternoon. That NE corner viewable from the
path is super habitat right now for shorebirds. Just the usual for us, but
I am so glad a shorebird spot around!
3 killdeer, 3 Lesser yellowlegs, 1 Greater, 28 Pecs.
38 Shovelers. 2 BW Teal. 52 GW Teal! I love numbers!
8 Rusty Blackbirds. Singing! Always nice to hear!
Spent the morning at Fernald in Hamilton county. On the Wildflower walk. Luke
Leader. He’s the new program director there. Come out and enjoy his walks!
Pine warblers singing here. I spent 15 minutes trying for the Palm. No success.
Good birding all.
