My fos Winter wren today. I was exploring CNC - Long branch. There actually
Wasn’t too much around there! I was hoping for Lincoln’s Sparrow. No success.
Just song. I had a lot of White throated Sparrows yesterday at Ellis in Butler.
No Orange crowned Warbler though…. I need that for the big year. I had Orange
Crowned on Sat. in Boone, Kentucky! I was on the Northern Kentucky bird club
Trip to Bone Lick state Park. So late fall birds are arriving. Just scattered around.
Tues. Will be back to Butler. I still need Brown Creeper. That was reported there
Yesterday. Etc. etc. I am all set to run a Butler fall big day run on Sat. But not
Sure if the weather will cooperate. Way too early to predict the forecast. I have
Learned that one in my three years here!
Good birding all.
