The first White-crowned Sparrows of the season showed up at our feeding
station this morning. The changing weather has brought more birds to the
feeders. Eastern Bluebirds are using the Purple Martin houses for roosting,
so I guess I'll have to leave them up this winter. While moving a log the
other day, a large piece of bark fell off of it. A Gray Tree Frog fell out
of its hiding space between the bark and wood. I relocated it to another
good hiding place. Hopefully it makes it through winter.
