Yesterday we had Baltimore and Orchard Orioles, Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted
Grosbeak, Blue-headed and Warbling Vireo, Yellow, Yellow-rumped, Black-
throated Green, Blue-winged Warblers, American Redstart, Lincoln, Savannah,
White-throated,White-crowned Sparrows during our Road Scholar birding on South
Bass Island. Woodcocks were seen and heard. Horned grebes were still around.
Two eaglets were viewed in the new nest at Terwilliger's Pond-the nest is
easily viewed from the bridge over State Route 357.
