More warblers were present today, but remained high and way off the trail.
Yellow rumped warblers
black throated green warbler (heard)
pine warbler (heard)
yellow warbler (heard)
Louisiana waterthrush (heard) - unusually rapid call notes which went on for a couple of minutes, probably provoked by the two humans in the stream who seemed oblivious to the bird's distress. The bird left the area.

blue headed vireo
swamp sparrow
ruby crowned kinglets
hermit thrush
brown thrashers
