Sorry for the late post. Yesterday morning I went birding at Hoover
Reservoir and Alum Creek Lake.

Bonaparte's Gull-one individual at the end of the boardwalk on Hoover
mixed in with a flock of ring-billed gulls.
Solitary Sandpiper-at the beginning of the boardwalk on Hoover
Trumpeter Swan-one juvenile on Hoover Reservoir near the Plumb Rd.
access. This is the first time I've ever seen a Trumpeter Swan on Hoover
Reservoir
Herring Gulls-three adults mixed in with a flock of Ring-Billed Gulls at
the Alum Creek State Park beach
American Golden Plover-two adults on the grass near the playground at the
north end of the Alum Creek State Park beach
Eastern Meadowlarks-6 individuals on the grass below Alum Creek Dam
