Weather pretty horrible and getting worse, wind, sleet, v cold but with scope, was able to get brief looks at a couple males walking thru the corn stubble. Also saw females. Thx to other birders who helped point them out. Birds move around a lot, taking short flights, calling then running thru the corn stubble.
Dress warm!!! Scope needed.
Pipits there as well. A flock of about 40 pectoral SPs flying out then settling back into the corn stubble was a surprise.
