Greetings -

There has been some confusion regarding the Ottawa NWR auto tour that was scheduled this weekend. Apparently several folks, from the state and from PA and afar, showed up today thinking the auto tour was open. It was stated white well and clearly by Laura and Kenn, yesterday, that the newly announced special auto tour is open on SUNDAY the 9th. In order to view the shorebird habitat, the auto tour is the best method.

The auto tours are SPECIAL opportunities offered by Ottawa NWR. Unit MS5 (where the Hudsonian horde is) which Jason and his staff have worked diligently to manage for shorebirds, is accessible (via park and walk) on the auto tour.
