Birders and friends,

Many other Christmas Bird Counts have had their shout out, but don't forget the Lakewood (West side of Cleveland) Christmas Bird Count scheduled for Saturday, December 30. This count is sponsored by Western Cuyahoga Audubon. While much of the area is urban and suburban, there is extensive area along Lake Erie, several portions of the Cleveland Metroparks are included and surprises do crop up whether it is at a neighborhood feeder, a cemetery or along the lakefront.
