This morning I had an interesting bird in my yard.
It was definitely a Grosebeak in size and shape - light colored bill, Black and White in the wings when it flew.
However: The belly, breast and throat were pure white. No markings on the breast. Markings on the crown indistinct. Crown and most of Head had a wash of light orange. No black on the head.
Albino immature Rose Breasted Grosebeak?????
I have had Rosebreasted Grosebeaks at my feeders all summer. First sighting of this bird.
Also have 2 Blue winged Warblers, and Red eyed Vireo for the past week.
