Took a long walk this sunny afternoon on the dike trails at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge on Lake Erie, Ottawa/Lucas counties, with the highlight being approx. 125 American white pelicans in the northernmost impoundment of big, open water. 

Also many, many tundra swans, two harriers, and a cooperative gray morph screech owl along the boardwalk. 

Struck out on the Oberlin snowy owl on the way there.
