PLEASE NOTE: There were two orange/red signs at the entrance to Englewood MetroPark - East informing the public that the main "ROAD WILL BE CLOSED 8/31 FOR 21 DAYS - INFO 1-937-497-6959" and another sign that says: "NOTICE: UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURE ENGLEWOOD METROPARK EAST PARK - This road will be CLOSED for repairs from MONDAY, AUG 31 through WEDNESDAY, SEPT 30 Pending Weather Conditions - This area of the park will be closed to all traffic - including vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists - during the repairs. Updated Information: METROPARKS.ORG/ALERTS"

Given that the lake is almost completely dry now and the East part of the park will be closed, for those looking for shorebirds in SW Ohio, don't bother coming to Englewood during the next month!
