I have been getting warblers one at a time scattered around. I hit Shawnee
Lookout yesterday late afternoon. The Miami Fort trail. Nice! Not a great variety,
but a pleasure to see and hear different species. 1 Mourning Warbler was a nice
find! Heard only of course. Ceruleans must breed there. Unless these northerly
winds are holding them back from migrating.... Very nice looks and
listens to male and female Summer Tanagers. Finally, an Acadian sounded
off! They do exist!

No BT Green or Blue, no Golden winged, no Canada. No cuckoos! All species
I am missing still. Theres always the fall! And June for breeders.

I hit Lost Bridge before Shawnee. Not much. I have to go by Lost Bridge to
get back home. I see a fellow birder there. I stop. “Have anything”? dows,
BB Plover, and a Willet! Well, time to park and bird the area some more!

It does that later in the day is best. After 6:00pm or something. Dows were
far. Willet is a state, county, and big year bird! Thanks Frank!

Some good birds yesterday, and yet I am still thinking 250 - my goal - might be
too high! We will see. I am missing alot - terns, herons and egrets, warblers,
sparrows..... sure is fun exploring though! I am around 185 at present.

I thought about a BB Whistling duck chase, but they are unreported at present.
And its a 2 hour drive north. Hopefully some closer to Oakley, Cin.

Good birding all.
