Julie and I drove to Harrison County to look for the White-tailed Kite this
morning. We drove in from the north and the bird flushed from near the road.
It flew west and landed in one of the tallest trees in a row below us. We
got good looks through the scope. We birded another area for a little while
and came back by the area about 2 hours later. The bird was still sitting in
the same tree. This is just north of the intersection of Cadiz-Flushing Road
and a gravel crossroad.
