Too nice a day to stay indoors. I finally left around 10:00AM. Went to East 72nd anyways. A good mix of ducks still present. Mostly redheads, canvasbacks and lesser scaup. There were a few buffleheads, coot-1 and greater scaup-1. Only 5 species of gulls. Bonaparte's-2 and Lesser Black-backed-2 (adults). Only 3 Greater Black-backed. Then headed to Lakeview Cemetery. Only thing of interest besides the gorgeous monuments were a group of 7-White-throated sparrows. Then headed to Wellington Reservoir. Lots of Canadas of course. Ring-necked ducks were most numerous. Lots of coots, canvasbacks, redheads, mallards, 2-pied-billed grebes, good number of ruddy ducks, a few black ducks and a few Ice fishermen. Nice day had by all.
