The change in seasons was evident this morning. Many YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS around, plus our first LINCOLN'S SPARROW, SWAMP SPARROW, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS, and GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET. Not many other warblers present, all I saw were NASHVILLE and PALM WARBLERS.
Additionally, while kayaking yesterday, my uncle spotted a bird flying away from the creek. He was able to direct me to it, and I was surprised to find a LEAST BITTERN, something I wasn't expecting at all. This was along Bokescreek in Union County, near the bridge on Phelps Road (lat/long: 40.42275,-83.473915).
