I just wanted to let everyone know who has been keeping tabs on our
Calliope hummingbird that as of Thursday the 14th we have not seen our
avian visitor.

He was very vibrant and feeding well Thursday morning when I went to
refresh feeders. He had prevailed the wintry weather that week and was
hanging out mostly in the semi-enclosed honey suckle feeder area.

I briefly saw him then and he gave me a chirp as he flew out to perch in
the far pine. That was the last time I saw him. I will continue to keep the
feeders out, just in case. If I see any signs of him I will post and let
everyone know. I want to thank the eBird community for their support and
allowing us to communicate our updates via this portal.
