Mary C. Joined me for an afternoon of county birding. The Old Stone Gravel
Pits were almost devoid of waterfowl. Strange. Has to be this warm weather.
This is not a lot for here!
4 mallard
2 black ducks
15 ring necked
7 bufflehead
4 hooded Mergs
17 ruddy ducks
1 pied billed grebe

We cruised farm field areas looking for Horned Larks. No success. Again strange.
I will definitely hit here again if we get some snow. Easier field bird searching.

Junco and Sharp shinned hawk were new for the county.

Good birding all.
