I didn't have many passerines - as others are saying. Although I didn't
walk a couple areas either - hunters. I had wanted to walk the trail
to the wetlands here, but I pull into the parking lot and 2 hunters
getting all their gear ready made me a bit nervous. So no walking.
But nothing on road edges either.

Redheads, Buffleheads, 1 RB Merg, Ruddy ducks, horned and
Pied billed Grebes were highlights. Most everything in small numbers.
13 pied billed grebes as I scanned from the dam were nice. I did not
pick up on them from the south beach side. Which I liked best.
Better viewing. The dam has possibilities though with birds closer
to that edge.

Good birding all.
