Trevor Wearstler and I popped down to Eastlake first thing this morning and as we approached the wall a flock of scaup with the Harlequin flew off. The duck seems to favor hanging out against the wall or the shore, and when at the wall is usually actively feeding with scaup.
We were only there for 10 minutes before work but quickly spotted 2 juvenile ICELAND GULLS (so at least 3 have been hanging out down there) and then got our cars stuck in the snow.
