Subject: [Ohio-birds] KIRTLAND'S WARBLER singing near OSU Campus
I dropped off my car to have the brakes checked this morning, and
while walking down Kinnear on my way to campus I heard the distinct
singing of a male Kirtland's Warbler
Here's a recording if you're unfamiliar:

Here's a map of the location: http://goo.gl/t1Cw8
The bird was easy to spot, foraging low in one of the two trees in
front of 960 Kinnear and singing regularly. I left it at 9:05am,
hopefully it sticks around! Not exactly where I had expected to
encounter my lifer Kirtland's :)
Good birding,
Paul
