There is some good birding now east of the Rte. 225 bridge at Berlin L. There are extensive mudflats and shallow water habitat. Found there today were Am. golden-plover, semipalmated plovers, killdeers, Baird's sandpiper, least sandpipers, pectoral sandpipers, semipalmated sandpipers, lesser yellowlegs, and great egrets.
